phil&thropic

phil&teds, as a company & as people want to give back to the community.  We've developed a heap of initiatives under phil&thropic programme (see what we did there!?)!
We totally get that there are hundreds & thousands of great people working for greater good out there in the big wide world! And we wanted in!  We love that we can be a part of putting a smile on someone’s face with our unique “buggies for good” initiative, or by donating a phil&teddy to a brave little soldier who is undergoing surgery  in hospital.  As well as being a “little friend” phil&teddy can be used to explain to children the procedure they are to undergo – and is theirs to adopt, name and take home!
We’ve been heavily involved with raising money for the rebuild & , and all after the tragic earthquake of 22nd February 2011 all of the staff here wanted to do that little bit more. We held stalls at local fairs, with all proceeds going to CHCH, sold celeb signed stuff, collected online donations, and Donate a Day...and so far have raised:
Over $10K!!!!  We are bloomin’ stoked to donate it to the wonderful Ronald McDonald House in Christchurch!
phil&teds as a company, and as real people, wanted to give back to the community.  So collectively, we've developed a heap of initiatives under phil&thropic banner (see what we did there!?)!  We love that we can be a part of putting a smile on someone’s face.

Buggies for Good
We take back pre-loved buggies, service them, spruce them up & donate them back into the community to a deserving cause! We've donated to Ronald McDonald House, Wellington Foster Carers, Women's Refuge, House of Grave, St Kilda Mums, True Colours, and many more. phil&teddy Sponsorship
We support New Zealand's Surgical Research Trust  A phil&teddy friend is given to each child undergoing surgery, to help to put a smile on their face as well as providing a friend to comfort them during a scary time.  phil&teddy is there to make children’s’ recovery just that little bit more “bear-able”.

Donate-a-Day
Inspired by the plight of Cantabrians, phil&teds created the "donate-a-day" initiative, challenging phil&teds employees to give a day’s annual leave to the phil&teds LOVES Christchurch appeal - we've been a generous bunch!  We're still keen to hear from Kiwi Companies wanting to give back!!

phil&teds LOVES Christchurch Appeal

We also held stalls at local fairs - selling phil&teds, Mountain Buggy and mokopuna merino items, with all proceeds going to CHCH. Auctions have been held online selling celeb signed phil&teds stuff, as well as other donations.  phil&teds heads cooked for families at Ronald McDonald House, Wellington & took food parcels along too!

In May 2011phil&teds were absolutely stoked to donate all $$$ to the wonderful Ronald McDonald House in Christchurch - they encountered some severe damage, and lost all buggies in the earthquake!
