q Q: How do I lengthen the harness on my tott car seat?
a A: Push the “press” button on the booster seat and simultaneously pull the two shoulder straps towards you. Please note each shoulder strap has two layers; the outer layer is part of the 5 point safety harness; the inner layer holds the shoulder pads in place. When lengthening the harness make sure you are grasping just the outer straps (otherwise you could pull as hard as you like without gaining any length).

q Q: Can I use a tether strap with my car seat?
a A: All phil&teds car seats are safety certified without the need for tether straps. The bebe recline, tott and tott xt are tether strap compatible. Please contact your local fitting agent if you would like information on tether straps, where to purchase them and how to fit them.
