phil&teds sport stroller travelled & survived ten countries

A phil&teds stroller is the only one you’ll need to see the the whole family through! They’re robust, they grow with your family and you’re ready from for more kids from the word go!  When I hear a story of the life & journey of a phil&teds owner I can’t help but smile.  When it is written with true phil&teds manner: humour, character & fun – I smile like a Cheshire cat!

Here’s a taster image… but you gotta read more about Jeremy & his sport (don’t forget we no longer manufacture the sport – we now have the explorer that is the world’s fav inline – but with even more!!)

“G’day,
The pram we have is a sport of some description. It has travelled with us to 10 countries now and is a little over 2.5 years old!!! It has tried my patience on several occasions, starting right from when my wife purchased whilst we had a brand new pram at home shortly after our 1st boy was born. Then to top it off I found out it was made in New Zealand of all places!!! Once I managed to get over that ,the next challenge was the flat tyres!! Sure it happens but, to us/ me at the worst possible moments!! And at least 6 worst possible moments. Hence in some of the pics we have some generic tyres that we brought in Switzerland where we currently reside. This was all before I knew you sold spare parts!!!

OK so that doesn’t sound like the best ad you have ever seen. The photographs speak for themselves. This pram has been everywhere, it also had a 9 month stint living at the beach on the NSW Central coast which also put her through her paces. She is starting to show her age now but we have been driving it like it was stolen for a good period of time!!! We are now in the heated discussions of, to purchase a new one on an upcoming trip back to Australia or to buy a couple of spares that will repair the damaged parts. I hope I don’t break a few finger nails as my wife will have me out and in with a new one before I can blink according to here ideology towards the whole thing!!

That will be another email to your experts I would say, with some accompanying pics to best advise on the direction to take. OK I hope you can use some of these pics some where. With relation to my earlier comment re the old girl being made in NZ, I know this is not the best review of her, but it’s the truth, she’s a ‘working cart’ & I really can’t squeeze any more praise for a kiwi product being as proud a Aussie as I am!!  It has hurt enough over the years having to recommend Oyster Bay!!

PS- Good luck to your beloved Ab’s!!”

And the images to accompany this email:

Thanks Jeremy you made me laugh out loud with this email.

G’day, Jeez what a great story. If I were you blokes I would give this guy a black explorer. I will definitely recommend these prams to my friends that travel a lot after reading this guys story. He seems like he has a real gift when it comes to writing!

I’ve been searching for a cracking buggy for months now only to be left disappointed with some of the products being offered these days. Jeremy’s experience and comments make the decision a lot easier, in particular the comment – “she’s a ‘working cart’ – i was sold with that… I’m off to get the Mrs. an explorer…. this bloke should be given one for free, I’m sure his story and experiences with his buggy will sell many more…. go you good thing.
