phil&teds promenade stroller hit stores this month and is flying out the door!  If you haven’t heard about the premium urban stroller… inline™ – where have you been hiding?

What makes it hot?

  • Trigger fold: Folds with main seat
  • One hand triple recline for main seat and double kit: smooth, one hand reclining from upright to sleep ideal layback
  • Sunhood with zip-out extension included: Mesh extension to allow the air to circulate for maximum comfort

And more!

What’s been said so far?

“The Promenade is sure to be a hit with parents wanting a very sleek design, multiple seating arrangements and terrific maneuverability.” Jamie Grayson, babyguygearguide.com

I love the compact size, but full versatility. I would step into first class by letting my two-year old stare at me while we cruise.

My favorite feature of the phil&teds promenade is the one hand triple recline for main seat and double kit! This would leap us into first class by letting both little ones be able to recline in an inline stroller!

Phil and teds simply are a joy for my son and wife, simply the best stroller out there, been through many strollers until we were blessed to come across the Phil and teds brand, absolutely value for money and id highly recommend to anyone as you know your buying a really high quality brand, and into a company that know how to build and look after the customers and most important making sure baby or babies ride in style and comfort..Phil and teds have simply outdone themselves with quality build comfort and superb after warranties,as a brand Phil and teds really make sure movies and father and baby get what they have paid for and some more. Would I recommend km people without a seconds thought, best investment my wife and I made.

This is an amazing pram and by far the best I have ever come across. By winning a promenade I would be able to step into luxury. For me stepping into luxury means looking cool, calm and collected while by two little men (3yrs and 10wks) are happily strapped in as we cruise the shops or neighbourhood even though I haven’t showered in maybe 48 hours, barely was able to brush my hair, did manage to brush my teeth, have clothes on that I wore yesterday and my socks may not match. But regardless of that I am out there being a great mum and looking like a million bucks. Doesn’t get better than that!

Ok this is what I have been looking for! Seriously, my husband thinks I’m nuts – I’m a “stroller addict” – i try them all just looking for the perfect one :) id say I’m MUCH more like goldilocks & the 3 bears….

1st i owned a bugaboo (I loved the simplicity and sophistication but it was poor for rough terraine),we found out we were expecting #2 and then bought the phil&teds explorer (I love the versatility and functionality but it’s more like a jeep and sometimes I want to drive the sports car ;) yanoo what I mean?). Soooo we recently tried the BJCS… (because its much like a combination of the previous two)… But Oh wowowow!!!!

This is IT!!!!! my dream stroller; it combines the durability, versatility, and simplicity of every stroller I have ever loved. I found my stroller that is “just right”, my “pammy” promenade (you can “name” a stroller, right?)

When my son was born I searched and searched for a good looking stoller/buggy that could reverse the seat and do you think I could find one? NOPE and now phil and ted bring this out and now I HAVE to get one. Also recently my Dash has ripped and phil and ted have been excellent, which assures me and encourages me to buy more phil and ted products. I already have the dash = one, the smart and a wriggle wrapper. LOL im an adict

This is a first class stroller all the way! I love the fact that it is compact and has the capability of being a double! I am expecting our second baby in May and having a stroller that can be a double and then convert back to a single and everything in between is great!

The best feature is the reversible seat – so important for baby’s development. I love that baby accessories are finally stylish and that we’ve moved beyond blue checks and teddy bear prints. It’s nice to be a woman who can appreciate form and functionality, not just a mum.

We do a lot of long days in our stroller. My youngest is in it all the time and my eldest walks, get in, changes her mind etc. So I need something easy fold that can be comfortable for the kids for long days traveling and exploring that gives me plenty of options for sleeping and various arrangements – the Promonade’s best feature with the separate cargo tray. We have exhausted our Dash and would love a replacement

Hi Phil & Ted Crew;)

I just fallen in LOVE with youre products.. But where I live it isn’t easy to find shops where I can see, touch, feel and CHECK OUT P&T!!!

If I’d be the lucky vinner, i’d be a walking promoter for you guys;)

My baby who is going to be a big brother this summer, is born in the coldest winter-month. And the next one is for sure comming in the hottest month so I really would fancy a new superfancy stroller. Where I live, in Norway strollers are so extremly expensive, so if I’m and my babies win we would cheer up so loudly that you sure will be able to hear us all the way “down”:D

I have a 2 month old and a 19 month old, I have one of those big long tandem prams I was given,it is sooo terrible I cant even push it cause it is soo long and heavy so Ive used it one in 2 months and never again! I cant even afford to buy a pram half as good as a Phil and Teds, otherwise I would but one and let someone who needed it have a better chance!:) and also having no licence and living in a small town means I never get out of the house cause I dont have a decent pram to push1 So my little men are missing out on alot:( would LOVE to win this!

The Promenade is just gorgeous.

One hand recline, no need for separate bassinet, zip extender shade. LOVELY.

Being a good parent to me means finding the right balance between your kid’s needs, your needs as a parent but also your needs as an individual.

Phil & Teds’ products cater to all those needs. They provide qualitative, practical support to your kids both when they are awake and asleep, to you as a modern day parent on the go and to you as an individual with a certain life style and sense of design.

I have found that Phil & Teds is part of a life style of both kids and parents.

Every time we take our Explorer out for a stroll I sigh “I’d pay the money to buy a new one every year if I had to”. Luckily I don’t have to because P&T products keep on going and going, year after year.

With the Promenade stroller you will not only offer the best to your kids with features like the double recline, reversible seats, etc; you also cater to the practical needs of parents with the easy fold, but just as importantly; you cater to my sense of design and life style.

When I walk behind my Phil & Teds I walk faster and further, keeping up a healthier life style, because it is so easy and smooth to maneuver. I am able to go every where I want and need to, because it allows me to. And…. I walk with my head held up higher, no matter how sleep deprived I am. I feel the proudest parent in the world showing of not only my kids but also myself and who I am.

Thank you P&T for not only catering to my kid’s needs but also to my own.

I love the fact that the seat can actually be used as a flat laying bassinet, my 6mnth old was a belly sleeper & would NOT sleep in any pram except the Smart peanut which I had to buy after having her (she was my 2nd child)… I have very recently found out I am expecting a 3rd, due 28th Aug!! I really need a new pram that will allow me to get around with a newborn & 1 yr old!! The Promenade will do just that, with it’s 8 in 1 adaptablity. I think the new Phil & Ted Promenade is the Mercedes of prams… tell how is that not 1st class!! :)

Living on the lakeshore in West Michigan, most of our travels, with our son, end up in the little shops and cutesy places. This would be a sleek addition to our vast collection of strollers! We have an “icky cheap” one (not comfy to push around because its too short) A HUGE double jogger (like trying to park a semi-truck in a compact parking space) and a rather nice single jogger (came with our travel system and infant car seat) I really need something classy and lightweight that I can take in and out of our minivan easily, while still keeping track of our 20month old son…as well as any future babies! I love the inline double-available feature as well as the pram-like positioning for a single! Its absolutely GENIUS!

I love the extendable sliding handle. I do the school-run every day by bus and what a relief it would be to make my buggy fit into an even tinier space. How come I haven’t seen this feature in any other brands? Truly original.
I would certainly step into the First Class every time I’d take my baby out. I’d feel like a star pushing her in my phil&teds Promenade.

I really love how the seat can face forward or towards me. (AND that it can go from a single to a double!) We are expecting in a couple months but also have a 1 year old! So this would be a fantastic way to accomadate the needs of both of our young children!

This would REALLY help me step into First Class because everyone I know owns a Graco! LOL. There are no fancy baby stores with high quality gear near us. They are about 1 1/2 hours away. So the only way to get good quality is to order online! But we really enjoy seeing things in person before purchasing….which causes us an issue! Would LOVE to be a First Class Mommy with my kids and the Promenade!

I have had 3 P&T strollers. I got the Explorer when my son was born, was impressed with the double features, so I upgraded to the Vibe2, LOVED it, then the Verve came out, and I had to have that for the fantastic rear recline option it offered. I have been happier with each model! I hope the Promenade lives up to that!

I am suffering from serious Pushchair envy! I love my sport but the promenade is just in a league of its own! We are expected our second child in March (first one is 20 months) and I love that the promenade would hold both, with my newborn in a peanut/ bassinet. The bassinet and seat option is definitely the most appealing and my favourite feature because it means both children can travel in perfect comfort! Coming a close second is the airless tyres as where we live the pavements are plagued with hawthorn bushes which love to get into my current air tyres so airless is very appealing! I could go on…
It would help me and my kids to steps into first class by putting us at the forefront of style and design. As a mum sometimes we have days where life with kids just gets in the way and as much as we try to stay looking on top we can’t so the promenade would stop people looking at me!

I am very excited bout the new promenade, being a big p&t fan, i am so happy to see your answer to strider plus/city select/icandy. With my 1st and 2nd I had an e3, then later upgraded to the vibe. With he arrival of my 3rd i looked at city select but couldnt bring myself o invest in another brand other than p&t. The promenade would be my next move and with a pram this great, I would have to go for #4! I love the ability to lay both seats down. It has all the features i’ve been waiting for in the p&t line-up. Well done guys.

My girls are growing up but the little baby I look after really NEEDS to ride in style and Tilly would love to hop on too and rest up. My favourite feature is the reversible seat which allows bubby and I to chat and to bond as we walk. Hi Phil and teds,

My favourite feature of the promenade is the flat bed for newborn baby that converts into the main seat of vice versa. I absolutely loved using the peanut on my sport but there were times when I forgot the clips to attach it to the buggy when moving it from house to far etc. this way I would always be able to use it. So love the main seat faces both directions as I love to look at my little lady when walking but know she will be fed up looking at me soon and will want to look at the world around her.

Amazing buggy Phil and teds, keep up the good work :-)

Unfortunately, for my husband that is, I am the Queen of buggy’s, I have seen them all, I have tested them all, I have rejected them all! Blessed with two wee darling girls, I crave, nah I long for a pram that can adapt, survive and meet my wildest desires. Let me count the way’s in which I love thee Promenade, to be the envy of mothers the world over.

Adapt: A buggy that looks stylish and streamlined as a single buggy, but with the ability to change with my families needs, converting to a double buggy at the drop of a whine, without fuss, maintaining it’s ease of maneuverability in any mode. A removable bumper bar, taking away that strenuous job, of manipulating my wee princess’s into the small cavity between the buggy seat and the fixed bumper bar. A second seat, that is as comfortable as the main seat, reclining into three positions, so both my princess ride in endless comfort. A work horse, adapting to all my needs, with sophistication, quality, refinement and dependability. DONE

Survive: It needs to withstand the pressures of my two wee darlings day in and day out, to walk the streets tirelessly, whilst having the immense power to outweigh any, if any, pushchair envy, as I eye other buggy’s strolling the streets nearby. DONE

My wildest dreams: A buggy that can rear or forward facing, so I can watch my wee darling, but still look like it stepped off the runway in Italy. The ability to convert from bassinet to a main seat, from the same seat fabric! Be still my fluttering heart.

Dare I continue about how perfect thou are!

How do I love thee? Let me count the way’s. I love thee from the top of your stylish extendable handle bar, to the bottom of your airless tyres. Promenade you are the completion of my family.

To leave behind the torture of the single buggy, now I have found the perfect double.

My favorite feature is the sunhood with the zip extension. Most strollers do not have a big enough hood to keep the sun out of the kiddos eyes. It would help me step out into first class by allowing me to shop with both kids at the boutiques in my town with a nice looking stroller.

I love that both seats can convert into lie-flat beds, and then back into normal seats without having to clip on a different accessory. The Promenade would help me step into first class by being one of the first to have this awesome buggy in my city! I love being a trend-setter!

My favourite feature is the reversible seat! I love that phil and teds are quick to improve their products! How do I know it’ll be a step into first class? Well who isn’t going to be admiring my new phil and teds promenade as I walk thru the zoo, trendy shopping area’s, and farmer’s markets – That sounds like a slice of first class to me!

As a mom of two sets of twins I really like that it accepts two bassinets and can be switched to a single stroller when going out with just one baby. This is the ultimate mom of twins stroller, I just wished it came out before I bought the 5 other double and 6 single strollers we have gone through. Oh well, there’s always next time around. one request, I would really like it to accept two carseats as well. I shared on twitter.

I love that the Promenade has all the features you could want built into one without having to buy any extras. I have the smart pram, which I love, but I had to buy a peanut for when my baby was newborn and then had to buy verso clips so he can now face me. This new stroller means you don’t have to worry about all the extra parts for each stage. I think it is definitely first class; it has all the features of the smart and then even more. The added bonus of being able to add a second seat means it is brilliant and would mean I could step into First Class when one day I have a second baby, something I can’t do with my lovely smart pram!

Phil & Teds ROCK giving away a Promenade and you guys will make one lucky family very excited…I’ll keep my fingers and toes crossed.

There are so many awesome features that it is tricky to pick just one. Love how the video clip shows how easy it is to assemble out of the boot of the car…how many of us on one of our first trips out have stood in the carpark scratching our head trying to recall how to get the buggy sorted! I also love all the seating combinations. Cheers K

I LOVE that the seat can face front OR towards you. This is a feature I’ve wanted for a long time now – it just.makes.sense!!
This stroller would help bump me into first class because I’ve talked about the positive reasons for baby facing you & also how great Phil & Ted’s is for so long, that I would really be able to show it to my family & friends so that they would finally ‘get it.’

I currently own a Mountain Buggy Terrain. Which I love for exercising with & fitness classes. However, I’d love the promenade to use when shopping & walking in the neighborhood. I think it has a classier look for this use than the Terrain does. It is also more slender & easier to maneuver inside a store. We are planning to have #2 soon & I would love a Phil & Teds double stroller. I have referred 5+ moms to buy Phil & Teds! Therefore, I’d love a free Phil & Teds in return : ) I have liked Phil & Teds on Facebook. Mauree Brooksher (Babybootcamp) & I will share this on my twitter as well. Thanks!

What a fantastic idea to have the option of turning the seat around to have your child face you!! This has always been a problem we had to deal with, but finally there’s a stroller out there that solves it! Thank you for always coming up with amazing ideas that makes our lives as parents better.
As far as it being first class, we’re military and we travel A LOT. It would be nice to be able to walk through an airport and have people stare at us because of how awesome our stroller is, rather than because they’re thinking… “That lady is nuts traveling with all of those kids!” (It’s only 3, but still)

Oooh, favourite feature of the Promenade? That’s a tricky question! I think it’s a tie between the seat being convertible to flat bed AND being rear or forward facing.
Two years ago, when we were pram shopping for our first bub, the option of a rear facing seat was high on my wishlist. But alas, at the time we couldn’t find a pram that ticked all the boxes. We went with the Vibe, peanut bassinet, and bebe HS with travel system to meet our requirements.
Have just had bub no. 2 and if we had the opportunity to start all over again – or win ;) – the Promenade would definitely be the way to go.
All our baby/kiddie gear is P&T (OK, we may have a slight addiction…) and, in our opinion, is first class all the way!

I really love that you can use the flat bed/seat along with another toddler or another flat bed/seat. This has been the one restriction on my using the Phil and Teds strollers in the past, that I have to either just lay the regular seat all the way down, or use my peanut and make my toddler walk, this feature would allow me to use the flat bed without doing major rearranging in the stroller.

Comment by Karina Mauer

I love that the Promenade has the ingenuity of a Phil & Teds pram, but now with the added versatility of being able to have two babies laying down.
With severe reflux babies that only like to sleep in their beds the ability of having 2 bassinets or seats laying down would give me the freedom to get out in style with a much loved Phil & Teds pram.

How would this help me step into first class? Well I have two boys who have had the same pram. It was 2nd hand when we bought it so needless to say it is not looking like its former glory now! The sheer ability to utilise the power and versatility of a transformer in the shape of a baby stroller is pure genius!!! Not only does it comes with styliah features, but it also has the ability to be used in reverse, and fold and transform in less time thatn it takes to say “WOOH!!! Who is that stylish baby in that Phil&Ted’s Promenade Stroller?”
We are due to have our first baby and we couldn’t think of any other stroller we would want our baby to drive.

Ah to promenade with a promenade, what a beautiful thought!

For me the best thing, apart from the sheer versatility that this pushchair gives you is the fact that it is so compact yet the seat/bassinet units are the same size. In nearly all other tandems your baby has to be compromised with a smaller seat/pram, not so here. So both 1st baby and 2nd baby or twins get 1st class treatment.

My baby is to be born be c-section next Tuesday 7th Feb at 8 am, due to having a complication with his leg, which means he will need to have it put straight in a plaster-cast. The Promenade seems to be the only tandem pram big enough for him to travel comfortably, whilst his big sister gets a great seat too.

What a ‘birthday’ present that would be!!!!!

I currently own a similar stroller to the promenade that was my go to stroller until my grandmother accidentally ran it over, permanently warping the frame): I was considering replacing it with another of its kind, UNTIL I read about the new promenade by Phil and Ted’s. For me several features are standouts, particularly the convertible seat (no more storing seats not in use) and I love that the stroller folds with seat intact. baby #4 makes her debut in mid February and she needs a ride with style, class, and most importantly ease of use. This stroller is so thoughtfully engineered; I don’t think they missed anything. The promenade Is the ultimate baby ride, possessing every desired functionality while being the new eye candy of strollers! Every mom and baby will be drooling when they seem stroll by!

This is a gorgeous stroller, not only does it look good, seems to also be very practical. Love the slim line look and the ease of collapsing the stroller. I am really liking the extented sun canopy, I usually put a blanket over the stroller that I am currently using to stop the sun from going into my babies eyes, the blanket looks hideous on a pram, definitely not a first class look. My favourite feature of the Phil & Teds promenade has to be the duo of convertible flat bed seats, providing ultimate comfort for my gorgeous baby twins. The promenade would help me step in to First Class by adding effortless style and outstanding functionality and ease of use to our trips out with our twins and their three older siblings. I love the bassinet and the option for double kit! I have wanted a phil and teds for a couple of years now and with baby #3 on the way a double stroller would be really nice. I have never had one because double strollers seem so huge awkward to steer and we have very little storage space but the phil and teds promenade looks sleek and compact and very easy to steer. I would love it and it would help me step into First Class simply because it LOOKS GOOD and very convenient and versatile!

Dear Phil&Teds I envy your products. I am a solo mum with 2 children the youngest is 3 months old. It is so difficult to go to play groups as we dont have a pram. I am left carrying him around and its not pratical or fair on my 2 yr old she misses out on muum time. I can not afford a pram and I cant afford to buy one on my budget. We would be so greatful if we won. It would free my hands up to spend quality time with my wee girl. It would be a luxury just to own a buggy.

February 1, 2012 @ 9:04 pm

It is actually hard to pick one favourite bit about the gorgeous new luxury Promenade, but weighing it all up it would have to be the luxury looking frame. The whole package. I currently own a sport and can’t rate it high enough, it doesn’t just serve my two youngest, but my 4 yr old daughter still needs a ride in it too due to her asthma, and its been great, but we would love the opportunity to try out the Promenade and we certainly would promenade it about, amoungst all the other luxury pushchairs people around us have at the moment, this would surely catch everyones eye!
So it would help us step into first class very much, it would stand out and be a talking point for all my friends and family and lets be honest, its at the top end of the pushchair market, not only looking fantastic, but being made by a very reliable company too x

Simple, for those days when I haven’t made it into the shower before 7pm due to demands of 3 kids, this will take eyes off the tired mum and onto the stylish promenade! Love it!

I love the fact the the promenade can have the seat and the seat lying flat on at the same time. Also can have a capsule and seat as well. We currently have a vibe which cant do either, and we are planning on another soon, so that would be really handy for us!! The look of the promenade alone would take us into first class, but also the realiability!! Cant wait to test drive one!!

Hi guys! I am continually amazed by your work and the magical designs you create to make our lives, as parents, THAT much easier! As a Mum of a special needs 3.5yo and a 1yo any way we can get about with 1 buggy is SUPER helpful :) I love the look of the Promenade, its sleek and super easy to use, and the reversable seat option is a huge highlight!
I would just LOVE to win one!!!

We are getting ready to move our family from Honolulu, Hawaii to San Diego, California. The area in which we plan to buy a house is right around the corner from a brand new shopping mall! What better way to get in some walking and shopping in style, than with a gorgeous promenade! I mean, the aesthetics of the thing are just amazing! I love my sport, it helped me run off some serious pounds…now I am ready for style!!! :)

The fact that it is so great looking and can have a doubles kit! We are expecting our thrid child, just 14 months apart from our second, and have been coverting the Phil & Ted’s just for the doubles kit, the Promenade looks so stylish. I simply must have it!

This featured on my blog would give me so many extra readers xoxoxo

I LOVE the reversible seat! A vital feature missing from so many prams now, well done Phil & Ted’s! Winning this stunner would help me go to first class on my little sisters’ upcoming Wedding Day, it might show the bride up! ;)

I love the zip out sunshade – this would help out with my son who thinks he’s already too first class to wear a hat or sunglasses!

Plus, any stroller recommended by Jamie must be first class :)

I love the reversible main seat! I was so sad when I realized I couldn’t look at my girl in the stroller once she was out of her infant seat. And this would definitely help me step into first class if I had more than one (which we are hoping to work on in the near future!)

The Promenade would definitely put us into the first class. The stroller we have is a hand me down. I love the one hand triple recline. The bumper bar looks easy to use unlike the one we have. Thanks for the giveaway. I hope we win!

I love that it has a doubles kit! I also love that it has wheel suspension so pushing two kids would be a breeze. It would help bring us up to first class because both my kids would have a place to sit (right now they don’t) and I could float down the street with ease.

I don’t think I can pick just one feature I like best. I love that it is a bassinet style so baby can sleep comfortably if needed. I love that you can face your baby toward you or toward the world. And I absolutely love that you can have two bassinets for two infants, which would come in super handy for me!!!! I hope I win. I simply love everything Phil&Teds makes!!

My absolute favourite feature of the promenade is definitely that it can hold 2 bassinets (or one and a seat – which can face either way). Its versatile and chic – I’ll step into first class with this baby (lol) cause its sleek and easy to handle!

This stroller is packed full of features I absolutely LOVE but if I had to pick one it would have to be the extendable handle! The only fault I find with my current P&T stroller (which is as old as the hills!) is that the handle is too short for me. Id love to win the new Promenade so I can step out in luxury not looking like the hunchback of Notredame :)

February 2, 2012 @ 1:43 pm

I love the fact that you can have it rear or forward facing – not many prams that I am aware of offer that facility. Currently I have her in her capsule to face me which does not seem very comfortable – shes now getting to the stage she wants to see the world and I think yours offers the best of both worlds. What a great idea. I also love its size its not big and bulky like the one I have!
This would help me step into first class as it would not stress me out having to put it into our Echo (small car) I would feel confident knowing I don’t have to struggle afterwards!

Comment by Georgie

February 2, 2012 @ 2:26 pm

I love the fact that you can see your beautiful bundle while you are out and about and they are reassured as they can see you! It would definitely help me step into first class as I wouldn’t have to struggle to get our existing one out, and get it up! Its less than a first class performance at the moment ;)

February 2, 2012 @ 3:21 pm

My favourite is definitely the reversible seat! My son keeps going through “separation anxiety” stages, it’s so heartbreaking taking him out as he keeps crying and he’s way too heavy now to be carried. What would be first class is pushing a sexy brand spanking new stroller like that and not a hand me down (as much as I’ve truly appreciated those…).

Comment by NICOLE

February 2, 2012 @ 8:03 pm

What I like about this stroller is that it can be used for multiple kids, I have a four year old and newborn and I recently lost my car and have to take the bus, using a single stroller for two kids, but if my 4 year old gets out of her seat first the stroller will tip over, since its not meant to be used for 2 kids. I would love this stroller, because its a nightmare taking the bus with 2 kids, a stroller, plus a diaper bag. I tried leaving the stroller at home but I have to walk to far so I have to have a stroller. This stroller would be a lifesaver.

Comment by NICOLE

February 2, 2012 @ 8:16 pm

Continued from comment by Nicole previous comment.
This would help me step into high class because the way I have my kids on my stroller now, (my daughter in her infant carseat with the handle hanging from the knobs the cupholder normally attaches to between me and my 4 year old) either gets me weird looks, or questions like, is it made that way? but my answer is no I had to improvise. I could get on and off the bus in a classier way with this stroller, instead of everyone staring at me. I love the designs of your strollers, compact, yet they can be used with multiple children.

February 3, 2012 @ 5:51 am

I love that you can use it with a carrycot or a seat — or a doubles kit! The reversible seat is also a bonus. Beyond that, P&T strollers are one of the few brands that can be used on the bumpy sidewalks in my neighborhood. I’m due in less than 10 weeks and hoping I can get out and walk around outside — instead of having to go to a mall where the ground is smooth!

Comment by Rebecca

February 3, 2012 @ 7:52 am

My first baby is due in June and I have been doing lots of research into various buggies. I know I want something which looks really sleek, is lightweight, easy to push, has a flat lying seat suitable for newborns, has a double kit and is easy to fold. Lots of buggies on the market just don’t have all this criteria! It would seem that the Promenade though has everything!! Having tracked down a nearby stockist I can’t wait to try it out and just know I will fall in love with it!!

I was actually in the mall yesterday and saw a young lady with her mother and newborn with this exact stroller. It was a stroller I had never seen before and I was curious. It was like a portable bassinet on wheels. I thought strange, but unique. It was simple, yet stylish, streamlined and appeared light and easy to manuever. If I was a baby, I’d sleep all day in this stroller. I’m early in my pregnancy and we’ve window shopped trying to ascertain the type of budget a new addition will bring. I’ve read reviews upon reviews and I haven’t been impressed with what’s on the market. I found one stroller that allows for a rear facing positon to promote bonding which I thought was fantastic (I’ve waited too long and been through too much to miss any minute of my child’s growing up, so this feature is appealing), but reviews complained of bulkiness, heaviness and lack of storage. My husband loves luxury and I can say this is luxurious by far. It seems that it would make life a bit less stressful especially when balancing a baby, baby bags, baby toys, travel, and all the stuff that a baby needs. Have you seen the amount of storage space underneath? I’m excited about this stroller and look forward to seeing it in action.

I like the trigger fold and the fact that the baby would be able to face towards us when he’s a newborn and we can face him out as he gets older.

This would help me move up in Stroller Class. #1:) It would score me some major brownie points with the wife! And #2:) I would definitely stick out among all the Graco’s that you see where we live. Nobody owns anything else! (At least that I have ever seen.)

This stroller is unreal!! With number 2 on the way I have been searching for something that fulfilled my wish list… And this is it!! I am in love with so many of the features…the reclining and reverasable seat, adjustable handle, sunshade, not to mention its good looks! I think its great how it can be fully adaptable to your needs/ situation. Cruising around with the kidlets in the Promenade would certainly put a pep in my step…You can feel like a bit of a dag pushing strollers around sometimes but this looks like it would be an absolute pleasure and excellent motivation to get out and about!

I hate when you go to look at a double pushchair and you get a price but then have to add on another few hundred £ for seats cosy toes because you have a toddler and a baby, where as this pram the seats convert and add ons come in pairs and are very reasonable priced. i love the curved handle bar which means no more struggling up the curbs! I have looked at many doubles as with baby number two is on the way, and was set on the icandy pear untill i pushed this around and looked at it incomparison this is cheaper but more 100% more stylish! The seats are more spacious and better feel material, with fully reclining seats is brilliant. even if i dont win, i will definately be have this pushchair when my next baby comes! :-)

It’s quite simple really…any stroller that comes out of the trunk of a Bentley GT Speed is a winner in my book. The product must be classy and obviously come highly recommended to have Bentley’s approval. This is my first child and I would like nothing more than to be rolling him/her around in this hip, new age versatile piece of machinery. Cheers to another great addition to the Phil&Teds’ family!

I am a Phil & Teds addict! I purchased my first Phil & Teds item, being a Sport Pram and fell in love! I have since purchased a mini diddie, diddie, up & away carry bag, stormy & UV summer days covers, Snuggle & snooze Sleeping bag, Metro carrier, Woolly & warm, hangbag, shop and drop & when my son turned 1, I purchased a Smart Stroller! I love all my Phil & Teds products and brag to everyone about how great they are! I’ve been so convinicing that 4 of my friends have bought various models to help carry toddler & their newborns! As much as I love my current products, The Promenade made me drool at the sight of it! It’s got everything a person could want in a stylish pram! My favourite feature is the easy, compact folding! Perfect for a smaller vehicle! Not to mention the adaptability, incredible! Is definately in a league of it’s own! I hope that sometime this year, we will be blessed with being able to tell our 2 year old he is going to be a big brother! And what better way to show a new baby off, than in this perfect pram!

I thought i absolutley loved the smart buggy until i saw the promenade, and knew they had gone one step further, their are so many features that make this pram so excellent, the double seat that recline, that can face parent and even just the simple things the smart dosent have like the footrest and the belly bar, just a fabulous loking pram.

It is a hard choice, but my favourite feature is the ‘Convertible flat bed seat’. I think its great that this can take your baby from new born (lying nice and flat) right up to 4yrs old) without additonal add ons.
This would help me step into first class, as I am expecting my 2nd baby in may, and the Promenade would mean I can take both children for walks to loose my baby weight, and not have to worry about them getting upset as they will both be incrediably comfortable.

February 5, 2012 @ 10:16 pm

Phil & Teds is really the best ever! You have so many different types of strollers, that it can be hard sometimes to pick one out of the shop :-)

But this new promenade… wow! It looks it has everything what a family needs! It has a reversible main seat, a one hand recline and a much improved sunhood, and most important: it becomes a double! It looks very comfy for the kids, parentfriendly and very stylish and that’s what it’s all about, right?

I really can’t wait to try one, and maybe I’m lucky to win one?

It’s hard to pick one feature that would be a favourite. My first baby is due soon so I have been looking at strollers. I’ve naturally drifted to this site, stoked to see a New Zealand company leading with innovation. Each feature of the stroller sounds very useful and logical. I certainly like the idea that your baby can face you initially. I also like the idea that the stroller can evolve along with your family, eventually carrying 2 toddlers. Great design guys.

I am actually hoping to win this for my sister who is pregnant with her 3rd baby due this spring (has a 5 year old and a 1.5 year old). She is absolutely in love with your products and has been talking about this stroller non-stop. Since she will have her hands full with 2 under 2, this stroller will be perfect due to its modular format. And since we have some family trips planned this year, which will mean 5 kids under 5 – having the flexibility to have a double or single stroller and its easy to fold design will be perfect.

I will be honest, I have a Britax B-Ready stroller since I also have 2 under 2 – but after seeing the Promenade’s features, I’m almost tempted to enter for myself… but I know my sister will benefit more from it.

AMAZING! As always, Phil and Teds you have solved so many of the pram problems most new parents face.
My first baby is due in March and hubby and I have been struggling to narrow down our pram choices. It seems every pram comes with a compromise. Not this one!
Knowing we want to have another child in the near future the idea of buying an expensive pram that will only be used for a short amount of time is frustrating. Our other choice is to buy a pram compatible for a second child, but many of these are big and bulky and often restrict what you can do with a single baby. For example, basinette attachments and forward or rear facing options. I just love this pram. It’s versatile, practical, super stylish and can grow and change as my family does!
