phil&teds heads raise money for Breast Cancer!

phil&teds heads like to give back!  So when I heard about “Bling my Bra” for Breast Cancer I knew there would be a few takers that would want to take part.

A group of seven of us got together to pimp out a bra each, submit it to The Fashion Workshop, Wellington, along with$20:  all money going to Breast Cancer New Zealand!

Check out our bling:

One of my colleagues, John decided to bling his briefs! May be something for The Fashion Workshop to consider next year!

A couple of weeks later the bras on display at a local bar (see the gallery above!), where we collected goodie bags and had PRIZE GIVING!  Unfortunately, none of us won… But we had a great time blinging & raising moolah for Breast Cancer Awareness!

This is by far one of the most entertaining things I have seen recently! What fun!

Just so you know, Phil&Teds has helped raise money for other cancer research/aid organizations as well! I have completed fund raising and training with Team in Training for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and run in a half marathon with my Sport! With out that stroller, I would have never been able to train. It felt great to cross the finish line, having pushed two toddlers the whole way. I am pretty sure I sold a few strollers that day, too! Everyone was asking me about my awesome stroller. That stroller helped me train for the Honolulu Marathon last year, too! And now, after baby number three, it has helped me shed my baby weight. You don’t even want to know how many miles I have put on that thing!

Anyway, thanks for your contribution to the fight against breast cancer. Keep up the great work!
