Once you become a phil&teds head, it’s safe to say you will always remain a part of the phil&teds family. Like a family there really is no escaping, no matter how hard you may try! Ex Marketing Leader, Richard Shirtcliffe, got in touch yesterday as his phil&teds path was crossed again.
‘….I guess I never thought, when I named them back in 2007, that a phil&teddy would ever directly benefit a kid of mine! Turns out Karma can be wonderful, no?!’
‘That’s my wee 3 yr old, Griff, after a tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, and the odd other ‘ectomy…..he’s slept with his phil&teddy each night since ‘
Richard said: ‘He’s a trooper and has bounced back well. Heart burstingly cute; heart rendingly tough watching the anaesthetic take effect!’ Here’s another example of what the Surgical Research Trust and the phil&teddy programme does to make surgery that bit more ‘bear-able’. Wishing you a speedy recovery Griff!
