Overall I am very impressed.The website said it could fit a child if they could sit up themselves.My kid is 7 months & can sit up by herself.When I put her in the carrier there was lots of spare space around her on all sides.The highest setting of the seat did not get her up high enough so the back of her head was above the metal bar of the carrier.I put a blanket in that she could sit on to make her high enough.I put a blanket between her tummy & the carrier to fill the void so she wouldn’t fall forward.To stop her flopping to the sides I put 30cm pool noodle sections in socks & put them down each side of her shoulders to stop her flopping side to side.I have taken her for 3 hikes so far and she totally loves sitting in the carrier now and is happy the whole time.The harness that holds her in, only has shoulder straps.It would be handy if it also had a waist belt with clip too to be more secure.It would be handy if the arm straps could be adjusted tighter, as my daughter is quite skinny.

The backpack has comfortable shoulder straps for the parent to wear. The waist band is really comfortable. The pocket on one side of the waist band can fit a set of keys, but too small for a phone. The corners of the metal frame rub a bit on each side of my lower back/hips. It would be handy if there was a foam rectangle panel to cover the bottom of the metal frame for more comfort on the hips.

We’ve used the Parade as part of our travel gear. It fits along with our other kit into the travel bag! We love this carrier as it’s adjustable enough for my husband and I to quickly swap over carrying our (very heavy) toddler. It’s comfortable and he likes being able to look around. Plus it’s so easy to get him in and out of, perfect for toddlers who want to be able to run around and have a rest every now and then.

My toddler loves it - the seat is comfortable and he loves being able to see all around. For reference he is 27 lbs and has room to grow in it. Comfortable to wear and easy on and off. It's very lightweight and packable. I recently came back to buy the sun hood protection but didn't see it on the readily site and customer service (shout out to Mark) for finding the accessory I needed! I look forward to adding this to the carrier soon!
