We LOVE our Poppy Chair. It’s so easy to put together (5 min) (unlike the Stokke which we also have), easy to clean and well designed. We take it with us on the go because it breaks down so easily and is lightweight. We even took it camping with our little one! Customer service is wonderful...sent me a piece we lost right away at no charge. We love the Chair and Phil & Ted’s. Highly recommend!! One more note: I had some back trouble from carrying the baby, and what is great about this Chair unlike the Bjorn (which we were also looking at) is that you don’t have to lift the baby up and over a tray....so you don’t have to lift your baby’s full weight to get him or her in...and they can even climb in a bit on their own when they’re older. So for back-injured Mom’s out there, this Chair is a godsend.

I think this chair is poorly designed. The legs stick out too far and we constantly stub our toes on the legs and worse, trip over them! We went so far as to put pieces of a pool noodle on the legs so we could avoid the pain of these legs!! Also, the seat material is weird and if you have a pet, the pet hair sticks to the cushion when you wipe off the seat. As well, food gets trapped under the cushion and it's hard to clean up. As well, the tray isn't completely smooth so if you want use any suction dishes for your child, they won't stick for long. And don't even bother with the straps! So cumbersome and then they slip off the shoulder anyhow.
Chair is not worth the price or the hype.

We bought this highchair 15 months ago for our 1st and it's perfect. Very easy to clean and very tough and durable. We purchased another a month ago and the seat seems to be made from a weaker material. I'm not sure if we'll get the longevity out of it that I'd be hoping for with a $150 high chair. I hope we do, as our 1st loves his chair and is very comfy.

We've had our Poppy high chair for about 2 years. It takes a real battering from my 2 year old who climbs in and out herself, (We have it on the lower setting) and when she stands on the table, which is not encouraged, it seems to cope well and doesn't bend and crack. The table is still white, even after tomato based sauce dinners and is easily kept clean. I love the fact it can be a normal chair when she's finished using it as a high chair too! I would defiantly recommend this high chair to friends.

Our previous high chair was very expensive high end bloom fresco which was not even close as good as this one is. We are happy to get rid of it and have this one. The priveleges are: 1. This is not havy and easy to move but still very stable, i could barely move bloom chair because it was bulky and heavy.
2. Easy to use the belts which does not have a complicated mechanism to close. Previous one was difficult to close and to teach the babysitters and grandmothers how to use it.
3. Easy to clean. We spend a lot of time to clean the previous chair and still were not able to clean it fully. This one is just 20 seconds to clean.
4. Nice desighn and my 18month girl seem to like it more and feel comfortable in it.
I consider this the best option on the market and highly reccomend to anyone.

My kid is 14 months old now so we have had this high hair for a while and my dislike of it grows each day. The texture of the seat makes it easy for food residue to cling to it and difficult to get clean. Food and liquid fall/drip through the strap holes and through the post hole and make slurry that is absolutely gross to clean and almost impossible. I noticed this because I saw food popping out and noticed a smell. When I took the rubber off I was surprised to find food from months ago collected there!
At one point my kid's diaper leaked, which happens sometimes, and I had to take the rubber off, and unscrew the straps and legs to get it clean. It took my husband and I working together to put the chair back together. I really wanted to like it, but It is not as functional as advertised.

I love this high chair because it's practical for my family. It's easy to clean (no cloth) and really sturdy. I purchased it because I did not want to store a ton of extra baby equipment waiting for another baby. My toddler is now ready for a booster seat and I'm making her a reading nook with the chair! the only thing I have to store is the tray. I love it and would recommend it to anyone.

We have purchased over 8 of these now for Childcare centre use and they get used several times a day everyday we love nearly everything about them only small thing is - Straps can be a bit hard to adjust (Wouldn't matter as much in a home setting)
- To get the straps out to wash is a mission (Again doesn't matter in a home setting)
It's very easy to clean, sturdy, you can buy new straps!

Best high chair we've used: simple and functional but also looks good. Easy to clean and get our wriggly boy in and out of. Probably shouldn't say, by we don't even need to bother with the straps for our big 9 month old, the table alone pins him in and he's never left alone, but what this means is it's just so easy to use. So happy with this purchase

Got this as a gift from fly buys. Contrary to what the manufacturer says, it is NOT easy to clean. Food consistently falls down the gap by the rod between the legs, and the only way to get to it to clean it is to take the rubber seating off... not too hard, but the rubber is a nightmare to reassemble, as you have to thread the straps through and there is very little slack to do this. Once the rubber seating is off, there is an array of nooks and crannies that food collects in underneath and the only way to clean these is with a narrow knife and with cloth over top.

Great chair! Easy to clean up and my 3.5 year old and 10 month old just love it. Only downfall is I don't like the 5 point harness with this chair. It's too many steps to complete and it's a bit flimsy as my 10 month old can maneuver herself out of the over-the-shoulder straps.
Other than that it takes up less room than other high chairs. The seat is also a lot smaller in person than expected.

I LOVE this high chair. I had one before, same look but an older model. It was orange and I LOVED it, I had no issues with it. But with the new one, I love it even more because of all of their bubblegum colors it really brightens up a room and is different from the everyday mundane high chairs out there. It does have one very new feature that the other model didn't which is a circular piece attached to the seat which prevents food spillage into the bottom of the chair (underneath the rubber cover), it makes life so much EASIER.

My 6 1/2 month old loved being in her poppy from day one & I was so happy to receive this surprise from her nana. I've had no trouble with the straps once you've got the adjustment right and getting on the tray table - it seems little effort really when I can have my baby right next to me while I also eat lunch at the table and she is sitting up comfortably and safe in a well fitted seat. It makes me laugh because it looks like she's about to head into outer space - gotta love it :)
Other reviews might be useful, I'll whip off the cover to check for food build up every now and then, but for now the tray is great.

It's an ok high chair but the seat belt straps are ever so poorly designed they always fall off my baby's shoulders PAT you should review and make changes. Other than that it's good. I have a smart lux pram and very same thing with seatbelt poorly designed can't adjust them properly it digs into my baby's shoulder and leaves a bruise so now I put it under her arms.

Bought with Airpoints about a year ago. Looks great, very stable and some excellent features like the wrap around tray to stop food being posted off the side. Two main issues are the straps are very challenging to use and the wide footprint of the legs mean they are great at catching your little toe as you walk past. All up a very good product.

As a seasoned childcare provider, I have to say I do not favor this chair. I prefer a tray that slides in and out with a locking device so as not to have to remote the tray. The easy lock mechanism isn't so easy on our chair. Also, the angle of the legs are akward to move around. Wheels would be a plus! I would like to say that it is definitely the easiest clean up in a chair that I've ever seen! That is the biggest bonus I see in this chair.

The tray is easy to clean but so frustrating when doing baby led weaning. You can not place the tray on any surface with out it tipping over and all the food left overs rolling off. The tray connector has an angle to it which creates the problem.

We have had our poppy for over a year now.
We purchased lime green. The color is slightly more yellowish than I expected.
It is a great high chair.
Pros: day to day/meal to meal cleaning is simple and easy.
I love the design and bright colors and we get lots of compliments.
Cons: it is very hard to deep clean. There are many crevices below the colorful seat cover which are challenging to clean up adequately and food is often smashed down there by clumsy, learning, tiny fingers
The straps are not very well designed.
The legs do stick out far, but it's not a problem for us because of where we have our chair set, there's no foot traffic there.
The chair cushion was placed in the dishwasher by mistake and ran through a cycle and shrunk. It would not fit properly onto its place again until we heated the material back up and stretched it for a while. But it loses temperature quickly, so you have to act fast.
We would recommend this to friends but with the disclaimer that it is difficult to deep clean under the seat.

I had 3 babes under 2yo, the poppy has been the perfect chair for all 3 of my children. I cannot recommend it highly enough. So easy to clean, user-friendly, compact, not bulky like others on the market. A really important factor to me was also the ergonomics of the seat which meant the kids (even from a younger age) had good posture when feeding. Aside from all other great factors, this will always be what wins it for me as eating posture will (in most cases) help prevent choking. Great modern design, I always received compliments from visitors. Well done Phil & Teds!!

We have had the Phil n Teds poppy high hair for a couple of weeks now. The easy to clean, no stitched fabrics, light weight, future versatility and simple design was our initial attraction to this chair. So far we love it! The only draw back - sometimes it's easy to forget about the wide footings of the chair, and the harness is a little fiddly, but it is still smaller and cleaner than your usual super trooper, transformer, forever cleaning atrosity. And the bonus - it's cheap and delivered straight to your door.

We bought this chair about a year ago and loved it right away! I love that I can usually just wipe it or toss the tray in the dishwasher. However, after a year of having it, my star rating has been slowly going down.
I think it's comfy. My nearly 2 year old (who is very tall and skinny) enjoys sitting in it and sometimes horrifies me by crawling into it by herself. Horrifying.
Pros: cute. This chair is adorable and my cute kid enjoys sitting in it and looks cute doing so.
I love that there is no cloth to worry about- I feel like there are many benefits to not having to worry about cloth. If it was cloth, I'd have to take it apart to wash it every day.
Cons: the legs stick out kinda far and are easy to trip on.
The design on the shoulder straps is sad and pathetic and everyone hates them.
The tray sometimes has trouble clicking in all the way.
After you remove the post between the legs, there is a big hole in the seat cushion where it used to be.
Deep cleaning. This is hard to explain. A large part of why I chose this chair is that it seems easier to clean, and on a day to day basis, it is. But children are messy. Eventually foods fall in the cracks between their legs and work their way under the seat cushion. Beneath the seat cushion is a poorly designed area. It is just a ton of nooks and crannies which require a toothpick to get all of the mashed foods wiped up. I do this process probably monthly, sometimes more if we eat something that's particularly stinky or mashy. Cleaning the seat cushion is strange to do by hand because it's floppy and oddly shaped, but I definitely recommend doing it by hand. According to the instructions, it is supposed to be dishwasher safe and washer safe. After about 3 washes in the dishwasher (over the course of one year), the seat no longer fits properly. And that removed one star from the review.
But honestly, I love the look of it enough that I'm wondering if I can just order a new seat cover. I hate to just get rid of it. But know that you are getting yourself into a headache of a high chair to properly clean.

I am really pleased with the chair. Its so easy to clean and food stains come off very easily. The table top isn't difficult to remove and put back. Though Food gets trapped in the little gap under the seat cushion where the middle strap is located. So you've got to watch out for that. I often have to remove the cushiony part and get in between the little gaps which can be hard to reach. Vaccuming it out helped. Other than that little issue. The chair is amazing, comfortable, light not to mention it'll grow with your child and the colours are so cool.

We love this high chair. The design is simple and it has a small footprint, so I don't feel like it takes over my dining room. The plastic tray is smooth and easy to clean, and the foam seat is too. We haven't tried putting it in the dishwasher yet because, so far, it's been easy to simply wipe down. My 6-month-old loves it - it seems comfortable and she can sit up straight with no problems. It was easy to assemble, and it's just the right height for our dining table, so we can pull her right up to it. We actually don't use the shoulder straps because they weren't doing much to keep her in place. The lap straps are sufficient to keep her in place. The tray is tough to remove with one hand - luckily she's still small enough I can put her in and out without needing to remove it. As she grows, this might become a challenge.

We've used the Poppy for a month now and love it. Great materials and design make it very easy to clean every part (and it stays pretty clean as the food doesn't easily get under the padding or in crevices). It's very simple to use, not to many bells and whistles.
The only thing I would add would be to have the back legs on a hinge so they might just fold in, rather than having to take them off to reduce the footprint for storage. That would make it bulkier and more expensive, though, so I'm happy as it is.

I brought the poppy a month or so ago, as I was sick of cleaning my old high chair that had too much fabric and too many crevices! I love the look of the chair, how light it is,how easy to put together and take apart, and of course to clean. I have noticed that the coloured chair has become a little discoloured where food hasn't been cleaned away straight away, must be a slightly porous material. Other than that it's awesome!!

This chair is cute BUT it is advertised as being easy to clean. It is quite the contrary. The fivers the cushion is made from trap soft foods like bananas. Not to mention the cracks between the cushion and the plastic... I took the cushion off to find rotten bananas and other food beneath it! It was sooo difficult to clean! Little cracks and books and crannies! I had to use a q-tip and still couldn't reach all of it. I HATE the straps. They're useless and also trap food.

I use this for my 8 month old and it is proving very good. Easy to clean, the tray is a great shape to protect against little hands swinging around. The only negatives is we tend to trip over the legs as they stick out and I find the harness slips off so tend not to use it much as he cant get out at this stage anyway but will need to use it when he gets bigger. Overall excellent though

We love our Poppy. Our wriggly child sits happily and safely in this and I have found the straps easy to use. I appreciate the width of legs as I'm not concerned about my child tipping the high chair over. The curved tray and rounded edges allow her to happily sit with lots of food in front of her and not lose it over the edge. The tray and seat cleans up easily but the one downside is that food gets trapped in the strap holes.

I've used this for our son, having had a more traditional high chair for our two other children previously. I love the design of this, looks great, the tray is AMAZING for wiping up so quickly with no cracks/corners/crevices. The only downside of this chair is the straps - they're really impractical, and ended up never using them. They're fiddly and cumbersome to try and fit on. So once my son turned 18 months he figured he could climb out himself, thus I've put the chair away in storage now.

I bought this for my grand ma duty at my place. So easy to assemble, so light to carry around and so good to clean and wipe! Love it!

A fabulous chair that's easy to clean and comfortable for bub. The shoulder straps are useless but found that it was difficult to get out of regardless of this.

This is a compact, attractive-looking hair chair. Love that it can grow with my baby. Wish you get a cushion insert to make it more comfy for a wee one.

I bought this for our second. I love the look and dual functionality, i.e. growing into a big kid chair. Both children love using the chair, whether it is for sitting or climbing. The only thing I do not like is the straps. The straps are not very sturdy and the shoulders do not stay in place, flimsy.

I looked around at a few different high chair options but settled on the Poppy Seat as it is really comfortable for the child, has a nice big tray and is super-duper easy to clean. On days when things are really messy, you can take the coloured cover off, put that in a sink of hot soapy water and wash that too. The straps click off and wash up easily in the washing machine in an underwear bag. We have twins on the way now and I will be buying two more of these fabulous seats.

Love our Poppy high chair. It fits perfectly into our decor and is easy to clean. Especially impressed with it's ability to move on ( chair conversion) with the child making it highly recommendable.

We purchased a poopy highchair for our second child. We love the fact it is so easy to clean and get baby in and out of. We do not use the straps. We found the over the shoulder straps seem to do nothing anyway. We used the bottom straps that go around the waist for awhile but have found we never leave our son unattended in the chair anyway and no way he can slip out. We do find ourselves tripping over the wide spread legs a lot too. But overall I would recommend to my friends.

We've been using our chair for 2 weeks now with our 5 month old and we all love it! Hubby and I love how easy it is to use and clean, as well as the large size and shape of the tray, and our daughter feels so big and proud sitting up so tall. I researched a lot of chairs before choosing this one and I'm so glad we did pick the Poppy. At first I was hesitant after reading reviews about the straps not staying up but we have had zero issues with this as the chair we received from the Phil & Ted's website has an elastic band that crosses the straps behind the child's back for you, so what perhaps was a pre-existing problem is no longer. It is really easy to clean and I love the idea of it converting into a toddler chair once our baby is older. I can't say enough good things about this chair - 6 thumbs up from Mommy, Daddy, and Baby!

I find the feet don't tend to get in the way of table legs which makes it easier to place

When I started looking for a high chair I wanted two things; easy to keep clean and a simple design. I couldn't believe how many chairs had stitching in the seats or even narrow grooves in the table where food would collect and be impossible to remove. This chair if really easy to clean and the wide table is great for catching food or for baby to play with toys. The catch to fix the table in place is tricky, but it needs to be for safety reasons. The straps seem purely to be there to prevent a baby from climbing out, so again while the catch is annoying, I imagine an easier one to open would also be quite easy for a toddler to open. It also looks great.

I love the poppy high chair! my son loves it hes almost 2 now, we´ve been using it for more than a year, and its still looks like when we got it, new. The only thing is that it is a little hard to clean it properly, and with a toddler throwing food everywhere is crazy sometimes.

my daughter enjoys sitting in her high chair. The wide tray is great for catching any food she drops and the whole chair is easy to clean. I also really like the look of the chair. The one issue we had: the post that the tray plugs into was a bit weak for our daughter (she pushed the screws out of thier sockets). We used longer screws and it's working out great.

My daughter has been using her chair for over a year now and we still couldn't be happier about it! I LOVED the modern design of the chair and the bright fun colors it came in. But I especially liked its reasonable price (compared to other brands). We live in a small apartment and we needed something compact and light weight to be able to move it around if needed. This chair looks great without taking too much visual space in our room. Also, I can take it to pieces so quickly and easily and bring it to my parents’ house! In my opinion, it’s still the best high chair out there!

Love how easy it is to wipe down the body of the chair and it looks great. There are still some bits underneath the seat that food finds it way into that are a fiddle to clean. The cross over straps are useless but the tummy belt does the job for us.

Have been using this for 11 months but have finally decided to purchase a different style high chair, as this high chair is so unpractical, food gathers in the crack underneath, and the parts underneath the chair are rotting. The straps were too loose so ended up not even using them. Would not recommend this chair to friends.

I am happy with this high chair. Very easy to clean and looks stylish. The only feature that I am not 100% happy with is the foot rest... It is unable to be adjusted which is impractical if too short or too long.

Just got this a couple of weeks ago and so far no complaints!! Not sure re the shoulder straps but just leave them off the wee guy.
Great and so easy to clean - great tray size too and the fact we can remove the tray support to bring up to table and then use it as a toddler chair will be great.
Really easy to assemble as well

We received our Phil & Ted's Poppy high chair yesterday and gave it a try this morning. Our daughter loves it and so do we. So much easier to move to different rooms, put her in it and then place the tray on. Plus it's easier to clean it all down again afterwards. We are looking forward to also taking it travelling with us and using it as a chair on the front veranda.

One of the best purchases i've made in terms of baby items. I was originally reserved when looking at this highchair because of the size of the seat. Our son is HUGE! Tall, wide, and heavy. Im happy to say he fit well then (at 4.5 months) and still has plenty of room now at 10 months.
So easy to clean, love that you can shorten the legs to he can have a picnic lunch with his older cousins.
4 Stars because the straps are terrible, I don't even bother and my husband always trips on the legs.

Bought for our second who is exclusively self feeding awesome but super messy. The poppy is super easy to clean, no extra places for food to get stuck and obviously very comfortable. The tray goes on and off easily and of course it is spectacular to look at.
The big con is most definitely the straps, I have given up using the shoulder straps as I cannot get them on and off, initially left them attached and slid them tighter and looser which was a pain. Please P&T fix this :-)!

My favourite things about this high chair is being able to reduce the length of the legs. At this height, I can feed my little girl from the couch after running around after her all day! The colours are awesome - she loves her bright pink chair! and it's so easy to clean. My only negative is the harness straps - I find it easier just to use the passive harness and tray to keep her secure. 10/10 from my family though!
