Not Quite Perfect

I bought the Sport because of the free double kit offer as it made the whole package just £50 more than the Dot which comes with the second seat for £400 and I had already decided on as I couldn't afford £600 for the Sport to include the double kit. Some of the Dot reviews said the second seat was small so I'm very glad I got this as I think the second seat on this is on the small side! My average sized 22 month old's head was only just below the top of the second seat when I tried him in it but I think it will just about do the trick for 6 months from September when my next little person is due to arrive at which point he or she can switch to the second seat.
I think it's a bit of a con that the second seat doesn't come with a proper sun hood, just a flap of material that you can attach between the two seats which becomes completely redundant if you use the second seat in the top position... Which is obviously where you would use it whilst a newborn is using the main seat in lie flat/as a bassinet holder! £25 for second seat hood but from reviews I've read, it's not as comprehensive as the main seat hood so may as well splash out £45 on that as it apparently fits both seats.
Also disappointed that it doesn't come with a rain cover (apart from small flap for second seat unit) so another £25 for the double one as who's really going to buy the single one for £5 less and have to faff about with a fiddly flap of material between the seats each time when the double cover does the trick with or without the double kit?!
One more moan, I'm sure it said it folds with the double kit on but it doesn't really, it just sort of changes shape but doesn't really take up any less space and I've tried with the second seat unit upright and reclined! Not a massive problem as the double kit clicks on and off quite easily and to be fair, I haven't fully got into the groove of unfolding and folding it anyway so it could just be me!
OK, all complaints aside, I understand that nothing is perfect and I really do think this is a great buggy that is functional for one or two kids that handles well, looks good and is extremely versatile without breaking the bank... It just needs to come with a rain cover and the double kit should come with a hood!

It's advertised as compatible with the Maxi Cost car seat with the applicable adapter, but it's not. A HUGE headache.

Got this second hand to go jogging with and love it way more than my other more expensive pram. Goes everywhere, easy to pack up and my son seems really fond of it. I also got the second seat, so looking forward to trying that out.
Still going strong!

Great buggy from newborn through to toddler and when no.2 comes along! Easy to manouvuer, in shops, onto/off curbs and busses. When out & about bumpy paths or pavements are not a problem. Often see friends struggling at times with other travel systems in conditions that this one finds a breeze. Light to push.
