It's not the prettiest one in the showroom...

...it's one of those ones you could walk by, it's not flashy, doesn't glow in the dark, it's understated - in a good way! It's so functional, cosy bassinet for newborns to an open back stroller which has several recliner positions which makes it easy for your child (and you!!)
to transition from the bassinet as he/she can look out or look up and see you!

Versatile

 4/5

Got this about a month ago, love the numberous features, including how slim this is - easy to navigate around shops, strides at ease. Best purchase! The only disadvantage is the front wheel - doesn't have a great balance once lifted - a small thing. :)

Flexible and compact

 4/5

We are really enjoying using our dot buggy. At 3 months old, our son has had some of the best and longest sleeps in the snug which fits on top of the dot. We have used the snug as a travel cot and the dot is easy to transport when travelling. I like the fact that I can walk along Upper Hutt river and still go shopping on Ponsonby rd.

Happy happy joy joy!

Had this since the day dot...... Haha..... Sorry I'm overtired!
Brilliant product, easy clean, doesn't tip when you tie shopping to it, my little squirt loves it. My only complaint? Do you make ones for tired adults with a large drink holder?!!

2 years and very satisfied

 4/5

We have been using the DOT stroller for our two kids and we have been very happy. The condition is still great, it can really adapt to the many stages of kids' life, and whatever you do with a stroller. We had a minor quality issue at the time of purhcase but customer service was also very helpful.

Love it! Super compact

 5/5

Love everything about the Dot! It's nice and compact. Fits almost everywhere because of the size. Very easy to fold. Highly recommend!

Great buggy

 5/5

We bought it two years ago and we are still using it, it is very handy

Great for a growing family!

 5/5

We bought our Dot for the arrival of our second baby. We've found it a fantastic pram for 2 kids and has so many different configurations. Recommend buying additional seat liners as they're so easy to switch and clean regularly so the pram always looks brand new!

loving my little pram!

 4/5

when I went shopping for my first pram I couldn't believe how massive they were....until I saw the Dot, I had two requirements the smallest pram that could take two in the future. I loved the snug, very useful for a lil baby over winter - just wish she fitted in it past 4 months. Easy to fit in my car and through narrow spaces. great assessories too. if I could have one more assessory it would be a forward facing pod....but then it wouldn't be as small then!

Think twice

 2/5

Pro's
It looks good.
Con's
It is initially hard to put together.
The fabric rips easily especially around the handles. We have had ours for about four months.
It is fiddly to put up, you have to remember to unclip the pram and then give the wheel a good heave, so it extends out and clicks. Just another heavy thing for a parent.
You need to purchase a rain cover and a sun cover as well (A big additional expense).
The wheels go flat fast. We had to search for a shop that sold the specific pump, as the pump we initially bought did not fit, we finally found one in KMart for $8. I think we would think more highly of Phil and Ted if they supplied this.
It's a lot of money and there are many hidden costs.

Travelers best friend

 5/5

I bought this when bubs was 6weeks. Initially we didn't use it much as she preferred to be on me, now she is heavier (20 months) I wouldn't go anywhere without it. We only intend having one baby, so didn't buy it because it could be converted to a double. We bought it because it was compact, robust, could double as a jogger and easily be taken wherever we go. So far this stroller has been all over New Zealand, Tahiti, great Barrier Island & back to the US twice. The foam on the handle is the only thing that's showing signs of needing replacing. The canvas has faded, but it's something familiar for our bub who travels more than most!

Excellent for small cars

 4/5

I bought the doubles version of this stroller to fit into my smaller car. As a double stroller it met all my needs. Despite my small city car I was able to have the freedom of a double stroller when needed with my two (sometimes sleepy) boys. I also found this model great for shopping in the big crowded department stores, it's smaller frame made it easier to manoeuver. As usually this wee dot came with all the Phil and Teds compatible features and goodies which is one of the reasons we heart P&Ts.

My army buggy

 5/5

Can you belive in Italy it doesn't almost exist? I could not even think about going around with my small girls whitout my mountain buggy - adapt and survive. Always present in different shapes as my children are growing, with a little bit of fantasy.
Unfortunally the car' capsule design is lacking precision....

love the travel system

 4/5

I have had the dot for over 2 years now and still love it. My newborn sits in his car capsule on the front and toddler on the bottom. We use it everyday to walk the eldest to school. Make sure you grease the bearing on the wheels occasionally.

Compact

 3/5

We bought this before our baby was born and chose it because it was compact but I think now that she is 8mo we will be buying another buggy as her shoulders already touch the sides. Too narrow

Exceptional Baby Love

 5/5

I must say I only demand the best for my precious grandchild and I did my research. The Dot Stroller lives up to "My Standards"! Thank you!

awesome stroller

 5/5

Works great love the different features and positions you can use with the double kit with a newborn and toddler and 2 toddlers. Its just like a single stroller only can hold 2 kids :) very easy to put together, only problem I have that I think they should really think about is that for the expensive price you pay ( I paid 750 all together for stroller with double kit and rain cover ) you would think it would come with the cup holder and food tray I was very disappointed when I seen there was none and had to pay even more for that since I already spent such a big chunk of money!

Amazing pram but get ready to keep spending!

 3/5

I have a new born and a 20 month old so tried lots of prams and loved the dot. We bought it in sept as baby was due in dec, checked it out and very happy intill..... You have to keep buying stuff for it! I bought the double kit, fair enough that's one extra thing I can live with that but then the 'kit' doesn't come with the hinges to use it effectively, you have to buy those, and a rain cover, one for single and one for double and most frustratingly you have to BUY a flap so as your new born doesn't catch their death when lying down as they have to for the first few months! It's a joke you set it up then there's a huge hole and you have to buy a flap to cover it! No where stocks this stuff so it's back to Phil and Ted who have a monopoly! Not happy! I know you have to buy certain stuff with most prams but at this rate I'm amazed it even came with wheels!

Smooth push, heavy frame, scary fold.

 3/5

I've had this stroller for over a year. I love how compact it is compared to the Bob. The smaller wheels make it slightly more easy to load into a standard trunk, however the wheels get caught sometimes. I love the way it pushes. It glides, you can steer with one hand, and it goes on various terrains (minus sand).

The not so good. The fold seems dangerous. It folds right in half and since the frame is very heavy it can easily pinch a finger or even worse! I've had my finger severely bruised because of the closure. Opening the stroller is tricky too. Either the parent handle bar is on the group and the front tire pops up into the air or your child's belly bar is on the ground. Not a fan. As a result this stroller remains at home since its heavy to transport and difficult to fold without worrying about injury.

Despite having to purchase every accessory (like any other stroller), the accessories are nice. I love the look of the bassinet, and I used that during my baby's first few months. I received lots of compliments when I was using the bassinet. I used a chicco keyfit car seat and I loved how that attached. I do like how the seat zips out for a cleaner look.

Overall, for the price and size and push-ability I like the stroller. The downside is the fold and the weight.

Rear facing view

 4/5

Very unique stylish yet sporty look has a great rear facing view for babies

Best Baby Item Purchase I ever Made

 5/5

I am an avid runner, and have two toddlers. After my second was born I went through a string of different strollers, Schwinn, Baby Trend, InStep, and all of them fell apart on me or was just a really difficult stroller to navigate on my winding running trail. After the last stroller broke apart on the seating (it was held together with cheap plastic) my son nearly fell out while we were running. I decided it was time to invest more money in a stroller and get something solid. A friend had a Phil & Teds stroller, and always talked about how awesome they are, so I decided to buy one. Best decision ever. I have been over the moon happy with this stroller, got the doubles kit, it is made very solid, steers incredibly well, and is super comfy for my kids. I have had it over a year now, and have not had one issue with it. It is so much easier to push while running, and to navigate through pretty much any situation. I love it and will never buy anything but Phil &Teds in the future. While they are slightly more expensive than some of the other jogger strollers out there, they are worth every penny, and will end up saving you money in the long run, as they will outlast most any other stroller.
