I bought the Dot after having a classic for the passed 7 years this was a great pushchair and great for my job as an early years practitioner in my home. sadly the classic is no longer. so I bought the dot. there's no room in the basket when you have a child in the back seat, I knew this would be the case so bought panniers to go on the side of my dot, which are fantastic. The straps on the dot are just to short and very hard to get around well built child at just 22 months, not sure how I will get the straps around then in weather when they have thicker coats on. the back seat i currently use for a 15 month old and they only just fit there head it level with the top of the seat.
It is lovely that is doesn't take up much room when storing and easily can stay up in my hall way with plenty of room to pass. if i was going to buy another pushchair I would definitely buy the bigger model.

GREAT

I'm not sure the issue that everyone is having with these packs. I have the classic stroller and I can get it on the frame easy enough.
But because I have to take them off the frame frequently which is a pain in the butt, I just strap them to the back of the stroller instead.
When she out grows the stroller, these will be great for the truck.
Fantastic!
I do wish it had compartments inside that were removable just so everything is more organized.

Easy to attach!

 5/5

I dont know how someone cant attach this to their stroller...ITS EASY! Just simply velcros right onto the frame. Tons of storage!

panniers

 2/5

I find the panniers totally necessary because the parcel shelf is pretty small and I find that it is full up just with the bulky raincover and my daughter's feet in it! So the panniers are vital for nappies, spare clothes, snacks etc. However I agree with the other comments here: the fixing is fiddly and it's not obvious exactly where you are supposed to fix the panniers on. (Mine never hang horizontally like the ones in the picture on this website!) The drawstring closing is a pain in the neck, in fact the cord on one of mine started to fray almost as soon as I bought it. It would also be nice if the bags had an inner compartment rather than just one giant space. I would like to be able to organise the contents a bit. The panniers feel very very lo-fi which is not what you expect from a brand like P&T which is supposed to be renowned for good design. PS when you redesign to my specs, I'd welcome the chance to trial the new product for free!

Find them handy to have in car but have NEVER been able to attach them to buggy like in picture and therefore don't use them :(

Great Idea, Could use some revising

 0/5

I love Phil & Ted's for their thinking out of the box but some of their products could use some revisions. The pannier bags, for example offer an excellent solution to storage issues but I could not figure out how to attach them to the stroller. Then, I had to only attach one of the bags because attaching two made an already bulky and wide stroller even wider.

Please re-wrok the fixing

I use these panniers all the time. I find the extra storage really useful. However they are incredibly fiddly to get on and off. I'm a cyclist and you have been able to get click-fit panniers for decades. P&T should develop an easy click-on system for attaching their panniers to make them really useful. Also offering a roll-top pannier (rather than buckles and a draw-cord) would be good. Roll-tops have become the de facto pannier design for cycling panniers due to their easy of use. (Incidently, despite their obvious utility, my wife loathes the panniers precisely because they are so awkward to use.) Come on P&T: Get with it!
