We had an older Dash double and were very excited to purchase this newer version for our growing family in November of last year. We love everything about this stroller except the attachment points for the double seat. The ball bearings you push down are very small and it is nearly impossible for my wife to push both bearings down and pull the seat back at the same time. I struggle with it as well, even indoors. This last Spring, my wife was stuck outside her car in the rain while trying to remove the extra seat. 10 minutes and two broken finger nails later she managed to get it loose. I have checked the alignment and everything is straight, the tubes are in no way bent, dented or anything else. Really unfortunate as the this stroller fit all our needs except for the ease of use for the 2nd seat which is the whole reason we bought it. The amount of storage space was great and it fit in our Tiguan's trunk area perfectly. Unfortunately after my wife and I tried numerous times indoors to get it to work without a struggle, we had to sell it before winter set in. Can't have my wife and boys dealing with that in a central Ontario snow storm.
Perhaps in the future, a different size ball bearing and accompanying holes could be enlarged or a new attachment design featured.

I bought this stroller to replace a very large double stroller. The dot is easy to use and store and the kids love it!

I bought this for my 5 month old and 26 month old toddler. I have an uppababy baby vista which has double functionality but found it very heavy and quite bulky for putting in the car. The dot is a nice compact double, it's narrower than my uppababy baby and handles better as a double. The toddler seat is generous. Things I would like to change: 1: the rumble bar is quite awkward to put in an out and you can't pop one side out for getting the toddler in an out. I lift my toddler over at the moment but thinking of discarding it as it is easier to let him get in and out by himself and his dirty wellies get the seat dirty.2. The baby seat for the double is very low to the ground and it's awkward to get the baby in and out. I imagine it going to continue to get even more tricky as she gets heavier. 3. The 5 point harness has 4 separate straps to click in which is a bit awkward. Most buggies these days have just the two. 4. The harness straps are quite thin and the shoulder pads come off very easily. I've already lost one and I've only had the buggy for 2 weeks! 5. The buggy doesn't come with a storm cover, you have to purchase this separately and it's so bulky it takes up the only basket space you have left. It does come with a bag and straps to attach to the handle bar but I prefer not to have it dangling down all the time. 6. The handle bar is adjustable but if you are tall and have it tilted upwards the handle is very close to the buggy frame and you have to stretch your arms forward quite straight. I find my arms ache after going in a long walk compacted with the uppababy which as a telescopic handlebar, much better. Overall I would recommend the buggy, it feels nice and solid, handles well in rough surfaces and kerbs and is nice and compact for city trips. I only use it once or twice a week at the moment but probably would go for a side by side if I was needing to use every day.

Whenever you are needed to fold up the pram, you must seperate the 2nd seat. This cause extra inconvenience to your travel when you are clumsy with caring two babies and bulky with luggages. The two handle bars are often dirtied by getting touch with the ground when folding up the pram. It causes hygienic problem to your kids when they sit back eating and hold the handle bar. Moreover, the wheelsframe are 100% mistakenly used to be a grasp point when the pram is sent on a plane. They are 100% pull out from the pram when you receive it after getting off the plane. This damages the frame.

I'm very disappointed that the dot does not fold with the double kit attached. I bought this buggy for traveling and having to remove the double kit seat to fold each time is ridiculous and not why I bought a double buggy. I did say in the shop that I wanted something that I could fold quickly with two small children. The shop told me you could fold it. It's also not clear online that it doesn't fold and the other models appear to fold as double buggys.

I brought this with the arrival of our third son who is 17 months younger than his older brother. What was most appealing were the various seating options & the size. While those two factors remain the high points I feel overall unimpressed because the pram is heavy to lift & push, the kerb pop is not there & the tyres make for a bumpy ride. Prior to this I have owned two Mountain Buggy Swifts & perhaps here lies the problem - because that pram is light, has excellent kerb pop & has air filled tyres which give a great ride. Maybe it's unfair to compare the two - but I cannot help it. I think if thw Dot had a lighter frame & went back to air filled tyres it would be a wonderful buggy!

Well the buggy is great. Light, easy to steer, both little ones are happy in it.
But the instructions, well as an abstract work of art they're great. Tiny pictures with a vague suggestion of what they mean which is only clear when you've fixed it. The lack of words. No mention of fitting the front wheel was a nice touch.
Fortunately the design is good :-)

Excellent, love it ! Very easy to use. Can't wait to get my new born into the bottom.

We bought this to prepare for our second baby, having tried an old Sport which wasn't compatible with the basinette. It is super light which makes it possible to push up hill, and tracks straight making for easy pavement navigation.

Fantastic. Simple ingenuity. It is a bit heavy- at 9 months pregnant i can't get it in and out of the boot but the fact is, it fits in the boot!

We have not been impressed with the durability of this stroller. We've had it since April and have had to replace the wheel bumpers at least 3 times, the front bar once, and just noticed a crack on the second seat. We do travel with this stroller but use to travel bag. We aren't sure whether to continue using this stroller or go with a more durable brand.

We love the dot series. It is easy to push and go through door ways and crowds. It's comfortable and has great features. The down side are the straps that release easily and in order to fold it hits the pavement causing tears or scratches on stroller. One just has to be carful and in no hurry when putting it away. other than that I use it comfortably for my 2 year old and infant.

We took this buggy for our two children of 1,5 years and of 2 months old thus we use it in a baby&toddler version by now. Frankly we are very happy with it, it's small and passes every where (however for the old 54cm large lift we should put off the posterior wheels to let it pass), it's light and easy to push also with one hand. It's definitely a solution for those who have two small children of close age.
I notice just two minor points: in baby&toddler version when toddler stays on the additional seat over the baby he has no support where to put legs as he stays upper with respect to the main seat. Also the additional seat itself is smaller then the main seat. It's not a problem as our toddler doesn't like to stay in any stroller he prefers walking so we put him there just for short distances or when he is sleeping (and he sleeps well in this buggy).
Thus, for us it is a fantastic stroller, we love it!

Fantastic COMPACT adaptability
I am a full time childminder. I had 4 of my own children close together now all >18.
I have owned a Phil & Teds Sport since 2008. The best buggy I have ever owned .... and I have bought many many buggies in my time!!! Phil & Teds are so versatile and super adaptable. Even attached buggypod to side for third child. The kids love it.
The Sport is still going strong but I changed my car from 7 seater VW Sharon to 7 seater Citroen C4 Grand Picasso with its tiny boot - major compromise on boot space!! (With all 7 seats in use) Whilst the Sport will eventually fit in.... I have to first take all 3 wheels and mud guards off and then a good deal of flapping about, it just took soooo long to pack up and set up again.... time I just don't have.
So ..... I discovered the Dot.
I purchased for its COMPACT 1 hand fast fold. It did not disappoint.... So much quicker and easier to fold than the Sport. The "1 hand" refers to requiring 1 hand to unlock buggy as opposed to needing 2 hands to unlock each side of the Sport simultaneously in order to fold. It fits into my boot easily!! (With minimal tweaking) I had to remove the removable boot floor in the car to access the space underneath which accommodates the rear 10" wheel perfectly hence no need to remove this wheel. I do have to take the other rear wheel and mudguard off but only after putting buggy into boot and I just refit it before taking out of boot again. Not a problem. No need to remove front wheel as it folds in nice and compact.
Obviously I was expecting a compromise on the size of the buggy in comparison to the Sport. Yes of course there is less space for the second child in terms of distance between the two seats. Hence Phil & Ted describing as COMPACT. The rear seat is still same size AND the recline is 100% better...1 hand easy recline albeit only 2 settings. Not a problem. The main seat is same full size for child age 5. Still reclines to fully flat for newborns. It is easier to raise from recline whilst child still in...big improvement from Sport.
The wheels of the Dot are 10" compared to 12" on Sport. They are the new aerotech wheels which came with pre-fitted protective hubcaps....fantastic safety addition to ensure children do not put fingers in wheels. I was expecting a compromise in terms of smoothness of ride on all terrain. Obviously the Sports air-filled tyres offer more shock-absorbency over bumps etc. But I must say if I hadn't experienced the air filled tyres, I couldn't fault this new design. And no more flat tyres or regular pumping up tyres. I'd pick these tyres over the air-filled ones for sure now.
Ultra-light handling? Easy to manoeuvre? EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS!!! More compact and lighter than Sport. A dream. Effortless to push, pop-up over kerbs, in & out of shops, country walks, up & down hills - it is fab.
And of course the good old adaptability that Phil & Teds are renowned for...again first class. As a childminder having children of different ages, this buggy is ideal for me and invaluable. I can use as single or a double. A triple if I attach buggypod. I can attach one infant car seat with purchase of adapter kit to main seat location. I'd love it even more if I had option to attach to rear second seat location or to fit 2 infant seats. (Especially as car seat recommendations are changing here in the U.K. requiring babies stay in rearward facing infant seats until over a certain weight or around 15 months) May be available in other countries/markets but not Europe I think.
The kids?? They all love the buggy. In the front or in the back. Very comfy.
Negatives??? Only let down - I've read that the Dot specifically, does not like the sand...WHAT??? Really gobsmacked by that one. A huge disappointment Phil & Teds. A compact buggy that suits travelling parents for holidays but yet doesn't suit the beach??? A big deal breaker there for many. Hence only 4 stars. For me... I'll keep my Sport for the summer beach day outings. Still a compromise I'm willing to make for the compactness of the Dot for my everyday needs.
For anyone who has not had a Phil & Teds before-- these are a definite Best Buy for ease of handling, comfort and adaptability. They may not be as aesthetically pleasing to the eye as many others on the market but in my opinion for functionality, comfort to the child and ease of handling especially as a double buggy are unmatched.
It is very difficult to know which Phil & Teds buggy to go for. The Dot is the best to go for if you are looking for the most compact or the cheapest. You have to weigh up budget, features, size, space, needs, functionality as well as the look. It's like if you buy a small more COMPACT car, you're not going to get as much space or features in it as in a larger car. Compromises have to be made somewhere.

I am happy with the buggy but we brought this for the deal with car seat for baby and have not received the seat for some reason!!

This stroller was great for our growing family. We now have 5 young children and loved that we could buy a second seat to accommodate for two little ones to go for a ride. Travelling with 5 means we always have a lot of extra stuff with us, so it's nice that the dot is compact when folded up in the vehicle and also when stowing away.

I've had this for a week and I honestly wish I wouldn't have bought it. I did tons on research on what double stroller to get and I was down to a Phil&Teds or a Baby Jogger. At the end I went with P&T and I read all of the reviews I could find but none mentined how the second child has little to no room left. Yes, I expected the stroller to be small but my 27 pound daughter wants to ride in the back but she's to big for it. Even my 6 month old 15 pounder bumped her head while sitting in the back with the front seat and it was not reclined. To top if off I now need to carry my diaper bag because it does not fit in the basket when I have my 2 daughters on. I wish I can exchange it to a bigger one, like the sport or something. This reminds me to not buy online if I haven't actually seen the product.
Oh, my sun cover is also very flimsy. I shouldn't have to encounter these issues with a brand new stroller that cost me $500. Very sad.

Perfect for round town nice and slim to fit in small spaces and also great off road ☺️

I love this stroller and it was my double travel stroller for awhile. It had the air filled tires and the best push. My husband and I pushed it all around Europe. I got rid of it when I saw a new double umbrella and regretted the trade that I bought it again. The push is so easy with one hand, it's so compact that it doesn't feel
Clunky on narrow streets. I didn't like traveling with a full sized stroller so I got rid of it and then hated the push on the umbrella! We are traveling again and I couldn't imagine what it would be like to not have this stroller so I bought it again. The plastic tires were a disappointment but they haven't been a problem. Love Love this stroller

We got this when we had our 2nd child and swapped our old BOB out for this one. Less suspension but it is super efficient, narrow and rides well. Only complaint is how tricky it is to lower the main seat to a lying position. Totally recommend this to others who require seating for two. I didn't use it from newborn so can't comment on that.

I bought this buggy for my second child when my oldest was 2 years old. I have been using it for 8 months now and think it's good buggy when you have 2 years gap between children and need something slim. I like the seat, hood, handle and don't like the basket - too small. Overall good buggy.

very compact very reliable and good in all terrains .. I love how easy it is to take apart and clean every little area and so simply put back together after .. My girls loves their stroller and falls asleep due to how comfortable they find it
Escrito por: Karajade08
I love my dot and I absolutely love that it converts to a double so easily! Does great on all terrains.

I bought this for my sister in law after she had her third child. We live in a city and she wanted something that she could use to get around when shopping in stores that have small aisles. She said it works great for her toddler and new born. The stroller seems really sturdy. I feel like I am pushing a single stroller not a double!
Escrito por: Mel1
This pram os a great size very compact design and also very light easy to pull in and out of the boot of the car. Only downside has been the tyres have gone flat a few times. But other than that I really like it.
Escrito por: Oonaok
I do like this buggy, it is easy to close but you do need to watch the position of basket as it doesn't always bend. This is minor to me. Both my children find it very comfortable and theolder climbs into it to chill out. Easy to recline and return - for the chubby phase if you have a pramsuit on child it did not loosen long enough for my son to fit. I done like that the tray is an extra cost for the price of this buggy and I did not by the doubles kit as I bought a double buggy for less then the price of the second seat - for the short time it'd be needed. My wheels go flat regularly but I just pump them and they're fine. Very easy to manouvere with two hands terrible with only one. Breaks are perfect, sun visor isn't great at all. But overall I am happy with this buggy

I bought this item on reccomedation from my sister who also has this pram.
Easy to manuver and push around when out in public.
Easy to collaspse when transporting it in my car. I have the double seat for the next baby.
Thanks Phil and ted!!!!

Have had this pushchair - the V2 Dot - for about a year now, it gets used most days for some bumpy dog walks and I've only had to pump one tyre up once. My son loves it - he frequently asks for it to be wheeled in to the kitchen/family room so he can sit in it instead of on the sofa! - so it must be comfortable. Will be buying a second chair soon if I can work out where to find it on the website! It is easy to fold up and down but it is a two handed job and it is quite heavy, although much lighter than my first pushchair!
Escrito por: Twin Mom
The pram is strongly built and easy to push, but it's on the heavy side. We got the attachable second seat for our twins which was good and pram isn't as wide as side-by-side. But we when babies got a bit older, the bottom seat became rather unpopular so we changed to side-by-side umbrella stroller. It's just much easier to get in and out of car. With Dot you have to disassemble the second seat first which isn't a biggie but I found it annoying. When we took off the carry tray at the bottom once, the buttons ripped immediately - poor quality! We also struggled with the sun cover because it's so tight you can hardly pull it around the bottom of pram.
All in all it's an ok pram but rather overpriced.
Escrito por: JH82
We have had our dot for 2.5 years now, and we use it almost everyday. While it is an ok pram, there are a few things like when you put the seat back to lie the baby down or sit the baby back up, i found the clip really difficult, would be great if it just had a lever that you pulled and could do it with one hand. Also with the sleeping bag, it always fell down, it needs something to fasten it to the pram. I also bought a sun umbrella which fell off often, so didnt end up using it. Would also be great if the sun shade could extend more. Overall for the price paid, we were a bit disappointed.
Escrito por: didi2
Love our dot stroller! Everybody comments on how compact and practical it is. I can't imagine our lives without it as I use it I public transports and even to manoeuvre inside the shops, it has proven to be so hassle free. It is sturdy and light at the same time. It is worth it! My only criticism is the belt that is short when using a winter coat on the child but it is possible to buy the extension.
Escrito por: MelW
I really like this pram, it swings and moves really easy. I have had no issues with the tyres and we take it off road pretty frequently. The sun hood however is just not right for this pram and is a real let down. I have had it replaced once under warranty 4 weeks into owning it as one of the 2 elastic hoops snapped on it, this is really important as it wraps around the frame to try and keep the hood in place. With the 2nd replacement hood the elastic has stretched from use, we have only had this for 5 months. I don't know why they don't use the velcro that was previously used on the earlier version, so much stronger and it would keep it in place unlike the elastic that moves around and slips off when we are on the move. Apart from that my baby does like it. I think it is great we can lay her flay when we are on the move and she sleeps. Looking forward to using the double attachment as that came with our pram when we have another baby.

I bought the Dot for a Newborn and 1year old and it's been a fantastic pram, great quality and easy to push and fold
Escrito por: Jays
Can you please confirm if this is the V3 version? A simple yes or no will do. Thanks
Escrito por: amfk
We bought our dot 3 years ago, and I love it. We have 3 kids under 5, and its been very adaptable for each stage. We have only had one issue with flat tires in this time, that were easily fixed with a bicycle repair kit. I love that if the older two are at school, I can make this a single, rather than pushing around a half empty stroller, and its great for all the places we walk (older buildings, lots of popping up a step to get in a store, narrow doorways.)
Escrito por: ignavargas
Thank you very much for your interest. We bought it about 1 month ago and we are very happy. In addition, we are pleasantly pleased with the attention paid by you.
Escrito por: Dopeyhippo
I brought this as I love PHIL and Teds products and as I've had the sport pram before I thought I couldn't go wrong........ Wow there has been more negatives than positives, tires constantly go flat ( brought four inner tubes and still does it ) , brake sticks, harness un clips and loosens on it self when using the phil and teds sleeping bag, the sun shade had to be moved and re aligned just to get the longer sunshade to fit ( it then got damaged ). In just under a year of use its rusty ( it's kept in the car never out unless being used! ). I would not purchase this pram it's not worth it, I just wish I went for a different style.
Escrito por: candyinne
It arrived today and at first, I was perplexed as to how to put everything together but everything actually clicked into place and it looks good too which doesn't hurt. I can't wait to pop around town :)
