The sun was out, so were we taking full advantage of the gorgeous day! We took our smart stroller for a bit of a spin. We parked our car in town and decided on a stroll along the waterfront, finishing up at the playground so the kids could have a run around. We have a pretty small car, so appreciated the lightweight & compact features of the smart stroller – it could be lifted in and out of the boot (trunk) with ease. So easy to put up, we were on our way from the car park to our destination within seconds. It was a fairly warm day (for Wellington, NZ anyway!), so opted for the smart mesh seat to keep our passenger cool & comfortable. The extra large follow the sun hood kept him shaded, despite the sun beaming down. On our journey we encountered ships and helicopters much to the fascination and excitement of our li’l man.
Our verdict on the smart stroller? When your baby chooses to explore his stroller rather than the playground equipment, you know you’re on to a good thing! This boy can be pretty fussy and is only just getting used to the fact he has to be restrained in his car seat whenever we drive – driving anywhere prior to this was just a nightmare! Seeing him so chilled and happy in his smart was a real relief as he usually refuses to be harnessed into anything. He was pretty content for the entirety of our stroll – much to our surprise he even willingly went back in so we could return to our car. Bonus! If I could read his thoughts I’m sure he would’ve been thinking “oh yeah… check out my ride!” Dad did most of the steering, you will never catch him pushing an umbrella stroller now! And me? Well… of course I love the colour!
