Now you’ve seen the all NEW voyager & phil&teds dash hitting the streets, we thought we would give you an exclusive, behind-the-scenes glimpse into the fashion inspiration behind these two stunning stand out strollers. With these two new kids on the block adapting&surviving the crazy parenting world has become #easyandclever, and it never looked so good! Subdued, new colour ways have been added to the phil&teds pallet including charcoal marl & blue marl which signals a significant step in a new fashion forward direction. We asked talented textile designer Jane Hills to share her vision for the phil&teds brand and where she drew inspiration from for the plush yet practical fabrics of the phil&teds dash & voyager
“The goal for phil&teds fabrics going forward is to create world renowned products that not only look good but are ready to take off road. They remain true to their durable functionality, but they are also aesthetically pleasing. The products are easy to use with intuitive features, allowing parents to ‘adapt & survive’.
The designs are fashion forward and simplistic yet still very sophisticated. These attributes can be seen through the use of innovative fabrics, textures, craftsmanship and tailored finishing.
New gender neutral colours and fabrics make our products relevant to a wide group of consumers and markets. The addition of reversible liners for the likes of dash allows consumers to customise their own look, remaining true to phil&teds quirkiness.
Colour and fabric inspo was drawn from designers such as Stella McCartney and high-end sportswear and outdoor brands.”
