Tyre alignment on wheel rim

This article applies to air-filled wheels only

Tyre can get misaligned on the rim due to low inflation pressure (flat tyre). If this happens the wheel is likely to wobble and the tyre may pop off the rim.

This is caused by the tyre is not being concentric with the rim.

To centralise, slightly inflate the tube and position the tyre equally around the rim using the rings as indicators.

Once centralised fully inflate the tube to 22 psi (firm to press, but do not over inflate).

See below video for further instructions

* Note: Do not inflate the tube outside of the wheel assembly.
